- Zenker’s Diverticulum: a pouch in the esophagus which can become blocked and cause difficulty swallowing.
- Zeis Glands: small sebaceous glands located at the base of each eyelash follicle, helping to keep them lubricated and healthy.
- Zygomatic Bone: one of the facial bones that forms the prominence of the cheek and part of the orbit.
- Zygomaticus: a facial muscle which raises the corners of the mouth and causes smiling.
- Zona Glomerulosa: a region in the adrenal cortex responsible for producing hormones such as aldosterone and cortisol.
- Zonules of Zinn: fine, transparent fibers that connect the lens of the eye to its capsule.
